COLOR THEORY

Explore color theory in fresh, new ways through multiple hands-on exercises that identify key color relationships and how to harmonize color using flowers as our guide.

HANDS-ON BOUQUET

For your 1st design, Amy will guide you, step-by-step, through her spiral bouquet method along with techniques for binding. You will have time to create a 2nd bouquet on your own applying recent learnings while utilizing the flower bar.

CARE & HANDLING

Flower expert and longtime buyer, David Dahlson of Mayesh Wholesale, will share his top tips for care and handling to keep flowers fresh.

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS

Images matter so a photographer will be on-site to document your finished product. Come prepared for a fresh headshot taken with your work. Use your photos on social, your website, or anywhere to help show off your work!

MINI-COURSE PREP

Pulling content from Amy’s wildly popular flagship course, Bouquet Bootcamp®, Amy has curated an online mini-course to help prepare you for the hands-on workshop. You’ll have plenty of time to watch the training in advance so you can use what you learn to support your live experience. Plus you get lifetime access!

HAPPY HOUR

Post-workshop, gather with fellow attendees and flower friends to "wine down" from the day! We’ll provide the refreshments while you network and connect over new skills.

On the day of your workshop, we will explore color theory in fresh ways that will stretch your skills, inspire new ideas and refine your design process. Through multiple exercises, we will identify key color relationships and practice harmonizing color using the beautifully curated and color-filled Mayesh flower bar. The color theory presentation and exercises will help you elevate your work with flowers by solving color challenges and choosing materials more strategically.

In the hands-on bouquet design session, you will be guided through Amy's proven step-by-step process of how to build loose and airy bouquets, every time! Learn the why behind each stem selection, how to prepare and edit stems, (a critical step!), and practice the art of terracing and spiraling so you can create bouquets for any application. We will cover key binding techniques and design fundamentals that will allow you to focus on efficiency and speed in your bouquet-making process to save you time, money, and materials. After designing a bouquet using Amy's recipe, you will have time to utilize the flower bar to create a second bouquet applying the learnings from both the color theory and spiral bouquet sessions.

You will leave inspired and refreshed with actionable tools and skills to help you elevate your floral design work no matter what season you are in.
